In the fourth quarter of 2024, the personal finance app landscape on iOS in Kenya showcased interesting trends as reported by Sensor Tower.

Chumz: Save & Invest saw a noticeable uptick in weekly downloads, ending the year with 1K downloads in the last week of December. Its active user base also grew from 4.8K at the start of the quarter to 6.3K by the end.

Money Manager Expense & Budget maintained a consistent download rate, peaking at 115 downloads per week in early December. However, its active users showed a declining trend, starting at 1.1K and closing the quarter at 741.

CashTrails+: Personal Finance experienced steady weekly downloads, with numbers hovering around the 100 mark. Active users saw a gradual increase, reaching 883 by the end of December.

Splitwise had a dynamic quarter, with revenue peaking at $102 in early November. Downloads saw a surge to 157 in the same period, while active users rose from 218 to 320 before settling at 285.
